Classic Pumpkin Pie

Ingredients

  • 1 unbaked 9-inch pie shell
  • 1 can (15 oz) pumpkin purée
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1.5 tsp pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup evaporated milk

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 425°F. Whisk filling ingredients until smooth.
  2. Pour into shell; bake 15 minutes, reduce to 350°F and bake 40–50 minutes.
  3. Cool completely before slicing.
